Meetrics’ Ad Verification Solution Now Includes Facebook
Online adverts can have a big impact – but only when they’re implemented correctly. Almost half of all online ads never reach the intended users. When the user scrolls, ensure that your advert is displayed in a visible area of the page.
Our Viewability Check does just what the name says: provides you with information about the visibility of adverts. To determine this, we use the recommended minimum set by the MRC and IAB – at least 50 % of the ad is visible for at least one second.
All technical solutions and products of Meetrics GmbH are subject to the high requirements of the European GDPR guidelines and are GDPR compliant.
The Meetrics Ad Viewability Solution completely waives cookies. Also Meetrics does not create any profiles of users.
Our Audience Verification processes only data from people who have consented to the use and processing of their data. A transfer of individual personal data takes place at no time.
Video-based inventory is just as rare as it is sought-after. Some publishers put video ads in slots that are actually meant for display ads. The placements are therefore often completely unsuitable for video ads: either the size of the player is too small or the position is generally not very practical for videos.
Pre-, mid- or post-roll InStream ads can be measured with a VAST pixel in 25% increments over the entire playback period. This approach makes it possible to determine the number of playbacks for moving-image campaigns. However, this does not take into account whether the advert was actually visible during the playback or if it was hidden by other tabs and windows.
The Ad Attention Manager can fully analyse video ads using up-to-date benchmarks or by integrating JavaScript. Our VPAID generator provides you with the necessary tags, quickly and efficiently. Meetrics is also the first company worldwide to use VAST 4.0, an alternative method which is also used to measure the visibility of moving-pictures.
Delivery possibilities
Mobile Enabled Webpages (MEW), Hybrid Apps and Native Apps.
Mobile Enabled Webpages (MEW)
A user visits a normal or mobile website with a smartphone or tablet. There are no restrictions on the full range of advert analysis, as editorial content and adverts are integrated with HTML.
Hybrid App
An app which is universal for all mobile platforms. It is used to optimise how content is viewed on mobile equipment. Usability and content design are specifically designed for mobile use and are therefore particularly user-friendly. There are no restrictions on the full range of advert analysis, as editorial content and adverts are integrated with HTML.
MRAID is a technology which has been specifically developed for in-app deliveries. This type of inventory is fundamentally different to ads embedded in mobile web pages because the applications do not run via HTML and JavaScript. Instead, they are based on a system-specific code. MRAID enables the ad to be displayed via a container (WebView), which is an integrated mini-webpage which can be fully recognised by present-day tracking methods.
Native App
Native apps are written in the programming language of various mobile platforms (such as Objective C or Java). The ad can be displayed using WebView. MRAID enables the communication between WebView and Native Apps so the viewability can be evaluated.
Other additional aspects can be evaluated with WebView:
We offer SDK alternatives for environments which don’t support the MRAID format.
